The “half-crying, half-laughing” story about a little girl from Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province (China) was shared by her parents on a major Chinese social networking platform on February 8. In the video, the mother approaches her daughter’s familiar study table, where she is doing homework like every other normal night, and discovers a “screaming” truth.

When she closely observes and touches her “daughter”, the mother is shocked to discover that it is not the little girl but a pile of clothes that have been skillfully shaped. This is just a mannequin created from the little girl’s clothes, including a yellow cotton jacket and a hat, sitting neatly on a chair studying just like a real person. Meanwhile, the little girl is engrossed in playing nearby.

When her parents discovered it, instead of admitting her mistake, the little girl still insisted: “I’m still studying”. This scene made the family members unable to stop laughing. The girl’s mother shared that she didn’t know what to say when she discovered her daughter’s prank.
